Mark Pettegrow Studio Ltd. 1995 – Present

Independent sculpture studio, custom design and decorative arts company. Private commissions include original sculpture, design and fabrication for restaurants, residences, corporations and public spaces. Significant awards, projects and commissions include:

• Art of the State, The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA, 2012
  Tripod - Bronze and steel, First Prize for Sculpture. 

• Private Residence, Aspen, CO, 2000
  Aspen - Custom 5 x 8 foot fireplace. Bronze, steel and hammered copper sculpture installation. Featured on HGTV.      

• Private Residence, Longboat Key, FL, 2010
  Crane’s Dance - Custom design and fabrication of two 5-foot tall bronze abstracts as a fountain and water rill feature    

• Vatche Simonian Architecture, Morristown, NJ, 2008
  Dancing on the Edge - Three 10-foot bronze abstract figures commissioned for the central courtyard of a corporate complex in Cliffside Park, NJ     

• Pine Run Elementary School, Chalfont PA, 2000
  Through Eyes of Wonder - Bronze sculpture completed as a Sculpture Residency with 20 fifth and sixth grade students. Bucks County Sculpture Invitational Award of Merit.

Brushworks, Inc. 1989 – 2000

Founder and principal designer in an architectural mural, decorative painting and design studio in New Hope, PA. Significant commissions include:

 

• Private Residence, New Hope, PA
  Custom design of a classically inspired pool house including seven life-sized  bronze figures, a 120 foot classical frieze and an interior stone, tile and painted fresco scheme. Published in Philadelphia Magazine, 1996. 

• The Pennsview Inn, Philadelphia PA
  Design and fabrication of a boutique European hotel’s interior public spaces. The project included extensive murals, bas relief, stained glass and custom decorative finishing. Won the Philadelphia AIA Award of Excellence, 1995
